A Rocky Road

Well, Praise God we found our camera!!!!!!!

No new significant pictures to post at this time. Denny and Andrew have been working on the plumbing trying to get it all squared away. This last week, my health pulled Denny from the house and other jobs. I was in the hospital for five days, but we know more now then before, so it is all good. I'm on bed rest until things work themselves out, which we are confident in the God we serve and that He is watching over the new little life inside of me.

This week Denny hopes to finish the plumbing, get the windows and the roof going and maybe get a few side jobs going for some cash.

We appreciate your prayers and support. You've all been so awesome to us! We are so blessed by you all.

Thanks,

Denny and Angie:)

Coming up for air

No pictures to post this week......we've temporarily misplaced the camera. Please pray that we find it. We are hoping that it's in a safe place and didn't get picked up by a passerbyer.

Cosmetically, from the street the house looks essentially the same, but Denny and Andrew tied up a lot of loose ends, so the house is completely framed. Friday we ran a lot of errands. We looked for a front door, bath tubs, ordered the roofing and windows, and looked at color swatches and toured new home construction developments for ideas on outside colors. Lots of decisions and timelines to chase.

Saturday, Denny and Andrew worked a half day and dug rain drains. Today they are working a half day at our house to finish backfilling and final grading of the backyard.

The rest of this week, Denny will mostly be offsite on other jobs, trying to bring in a little rent money!!!!!:)

Stay posted and please pray for our sanity if it comes to mind:)

Trusses Arrive

The roof trusses arrive on Tuesday.

It is a tight fit, but somehow the truck squeezes between the power pole and the house.

There is just enough room for the boom to swing the trusses onto the house.

Some trusses went up one at a time.

Before too long, it looks as though the guys know what they are doing.

Don frees up his day because he is known to love setting hip trusses . "Hows it going Don?"

Those hips look pretty nice from the backside!

The front of the house begins to take shape.

Once the trusses are set, the boys start laying the sheets on them.

Denny snaps lines to make sure all the sheets are perfect.

Now it is starting to look like a house. Denny is debating one final touch on the front of the roof for curb appeal, so stay tuned to see if it happens.
