This photo was a "gotcha!!!" photo! We went to target this weekend and found these bunny ears in our basket. When we put them on Keeley she threw them off, so when she wasn't paying attention we slipped them on her and got a quick pic! She is so cute!!!
Wheeeeeeeeeeeew! Well, the Dahlgren's have embarked on a new challenge and we would like to request your prayers. It was an easy decision to make, because we knew it was the right thing to do, but the emotions involved have been and still are difficult to manage.
Without going into all the details. We have become foster parents to our great niece. Her name is Kahmyia. She is 18 months, so she is 3 months older than Keeley. They are good friends and play together very well. Her mommy is not in a healthy place to give her a healthy stable home. At the most we have committed to a year of care. At the least it really depends on the mama's seriousness to get her life straight.
The one most important variable in all of this is Keeley. If this in anyway is negative for Keeley then we will pull out.
Last night was her first night with us and it went well, but we are only used to getting one baby ready for bath and bed, so it took both us to get two babies ready, but we survived. Once we get Kahmyia on Keeley's schedule it should be easier.
