Swimming was too cold!!!!

Well yesterday was Keeley's first swim lesson with Mommy. I was really excited because when she was 6 months we took her to the pool and she loved it. At bathtime I pour water on her head and she has no problems with water in her face. But.........At six months it was a hot day in an outside pool and bathtime the water is warm. Yesterday, at the Oregon City pool, the boiler was broken. The pool was freezing. I was cold. As soon as she felt that cold water, she cried and cried!!! There was one other mom and her 7 month old son and he loved it. Of course his Gma sat next to Denny and tried to tell Denny that we were six months late getting Keeley in the water and that is why she is afraid. Denny quickly informed the Gma that Keeley wasn't afraid she was freezing. Her feet and hands were purple and she was shivering. After hearing that remark from Gma, the hair on the back of my neck raised and I had many thoughts I would like to share with Grams (starting with a big scar down my middle) Uuuugggggghhhh! It's so good I did not hear that Gma first hand. At any rate, I'll be calling the pool before Wednesday's lesson. I'm not going to make Keeley go through that again!

Other than that, Keeley is a very happy little girl. She loves to laugh, eat,play, sleep and she stands up quite a bit. Aaaaggggghhhhh, I'm not sure I'm ready for walking, but it is coming:)

A New year, 2009!!!

Little Keeley endured her first long cold, that turned into the flu and she had to go to the ER and get fluids. Poor thing!! She loved falling asleep on Daddy.She had her first birthday. It was a success. She doesn't like cake or getting dirty but she loved ripping paper. Thank you all for your love and support. She is spoiled and loved so much!

Bama Bann and Papa Brian gave her a rocking horse that she loves. She tries to make it rock faster.

Funny Gma Jenni gave her some funny glasses. We couldn't get her to wear them though.

The balloons were still just as fun the day after.

Many of you know, we recieved about 2 ft of snow during Christmas. This was after the first fall

Keeley loves her Jesus Loves me bear. It always makes her smile,laugh,dance and sometimes sing!

Here we were trying to pose for a last minute family Christmas photo. We weren't impressed so we just did pics of the photogenic one in the family.
