For our last day in Kauai, we decided to hike to Ho'opi falls after driving to this destination and realizing that the path was going to get pretty slippery with the car we had.
The hike was great, despite a good fall that I had and the nice huge bruise I have on my leg to show for it, as well as a body covered with mosquito bites. We had a ton of spray on. Denny didn't get bitten once. I can tell you that I had 16 bites just on my left arm. They really like my blood.
On our last full day, we went to a Luau. It was our 10 year anniversary and it was fun!!! Of course the first thing we saw when we got there.........chickens, chickens:)
This was a mango tree in the middle of the tent that the luau was in. The boat on the tree is carved into the tree from a broken limb that was struck by lightening.
